Biography

Jeff Hoover, PhD, is a psychometrician for the Dynamic Learning Maps® (DLM®) Alternate Assessment System, which administers statewide alternate assessments to students with the most significant cognitive disabilities in 21 states. Hoover received his PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Kansas, specializing in research, evaluation, measurement, and statistics. His research interests include diagnostic classification models and machine learning. He has co-authored more than 50 journal articles, technical reports, encyclopedia entries, presentations, and software packages.
